Check before you hire

License, insurance and warranty

Before you let anyone near your furnace or your electrical panel, you should know who they are. The license number, the bonding, the insurance and the warranty on our work are all on this page, and if you ask for the paperwork, you get it.

What Protects You On Every Job

Home Improvement Contractor License No. 420226000078

All Purpose HVAC is a trade name of All Purpose Anytime Services LLC, which holds Home Improvement Contractor License No. 420226000078. The number goes on your written estimate so you can check it yourself.

Bonded

All Purpose Anytime Services LLC carries a surety bond, which protects you if contracted work is not completed as agreed. Bonding details are available with any written estimate.

General Liability Insurance

Business liability coverage protects your property while our technicians are there. Ask for a current certificate of insurance and we'll send it before any work begins.

Workers' Compensation

Every crew member is covered by workers' compensation insurance, so if someone gets hurt on your property, our insurance carries it.

60 to 90 day warranty on our work

Our workmanship carries a 60 to 90 day warranty, depending on the job. New equipment also comes with the maker's own warranty, on the maker's terms. Ask which term applies when you get your written price.

Established 2020

All Purpose Anytime Services LLC has worked across Maryland, Washington DC and Northern Virginia since 2020, from its office at 6965 Heather Drive, Suite A, Bryans Road, MD 20616. Open every day, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM.

Before You Sign

How to check any HVAC contractor, us included

We'd rather you check every contractor properly, because we pass. Ask these four things before anyone touches the equipment.

1

Ask for the certificate of insurance

Any legitimate contractor can send a current COI naming their general liability and workers’ compensation carriers. Ask us and we send ours, before the visit if you like.

2

Check the license number

Our Home Improvement Contractor license is No. 420226000078, held by All Purpose Anytime Services LLC. It's on every written estimate, so look it up before you sign anything.

3

Get the scope, price and warranty in writing

Our estimates spell out the scope of work, the price and the warranty term that applies before you approve anything. If a contractor won't put it in writing, walk away.

4

Ask who pulls the permit

A system changeout takes a mechanical permit in every jurisdiction we work in, and in Montgomery and Prince George’s counties the gas side needs a WSSC Water licensed gasfitter. The permit is part of our price, and the gasfitter number goes on the paperwork.

The rules every service call runs by, from the diagnostic fee to the cleanup, are on the service standards page. New equipment carries the manufacturer's own warranty, on the manufacturer's terms, and we leave you the paperwork and registration after an installation.
