Programs that can help pay for HVAC work
7 programs in Maryland and DC that pay for heating and cooling work, as they stood in October 2026.
One thing first, so nobody is surprised later. We aren't enrolled in any rebate or assistance program, and the rebate programs below pay through contractors who take part in them. If one of these rebates is why you're doing the job, a participating contractor has to do it.
Each page says what the program pays for, the amounts, who qualifies and how to apply, in the program's own figures. It also says plainly what we can do for you anyway, which is usually a free written estimate with every item on its own line, and the work itself where the program lets you choose the contractor.
